Special Presentation on the U.S. Libya Partnership in Archaeology

The U.S. Embassy is proud to sponsor a robust archaeological partnership with the Libyan Department of Archaeology and Antiquities. 

As part of this on-going partnership, we have organized a special event entitled the American-Libyan Archaeological Partnership and we would be honored if your members would attend. 

The event will feature a presentation by world-renowned archaeologists from Oberlin College in Ohio and conservators from the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Hollywood Nights: The Maltese Falcon

The Cultural Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy invites you to the launch of our new program Hollywood Nights: The American Movie Club on Wednesday, February 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alfeel Cinema in Janzour Village. 

The night will feature a special viewing of the American Movie Classic: The Maltese Falcon starring Humphrey Bogart followed by a discussion on the importance of Cinema in American Culture.

Welcome to Organization of Filipino Photographers In Libya (OFPIL) Founded: Dec 13,2010 We are a group of fun-loving photographers who wants to enjoy while improving our craft. We share a common bond and that is our love and passion to capture moments using a DSLR, SLR, point-and-shoot, or even an ordinary film camera.

Goal/Objective: Our goal is to keep shooting, learn together along the way and create friendship that can only be built by people who share the same passion and interest.

Activities: We have regular photo sessions wherein we can practice taking photos and learn techniques from each other.
